Animation Guild Reaches Tentative 3-Year Deal With AMPTP

After extending talks several times, the Animation Guild has reached a tentative deal with the major Hollywood studios

With less than two weeks left until the current contract expiration and after multiple extensions, the bargaining unit announced Monday that it had finalized another three-year agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. “After weeks of negotiations that covered months in the calendar, I am very proud of the agreement that we reached with the studios for our new contract,” TAG Business Representative Steve Kaplan said in a statement Monday. As Deadline previously reported, artificial intelligence and staff protections were the top priorities for the Animation Guild as talks continued over the past several months.
