Ani DiFranco and Stone Gossard Reunite for Groovy Track ‘The Message’
Ani DiFranco and Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard have reunited for the groovy track 'The Message.'
The track features the same lineup as the duo’s 2022 collaboration: DiFranco on vocals, Gossard on guitar, keyboardist Josh Evans, saxophonist Skerik, and percussionist Stanton Moore. The first leg of the trek wrapped in Seattle on Feb. 1; she’ll resume touring on March 9 in St. Petersburg, Florida, after she headlines the Cayamo Cruise later this month. One month later, they’ll headline the 2025 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival alongside Kacey Musgraves, Lil Wayne with the Roots, Dave Matthews Band, and Luke Combs.
