Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Reach Divorce Settlement After Eight Years

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pit have reached a settlement for their divorce after eight years of disagreement.

“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt,” Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told People in a statement. The filing does not include Château Miraval, the French estate and winery that the pair shared that has been the source of a separate lawsuit Pitt brought against Jolie in 2022. “The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues,” the statement noted.
