R&B singer Angela Bofill died Thursday in California at age 70.

ON BEHALF OF SHAUNA BOFILL, HUSBAND CHRIS PORTUGUESE, WE ARE SADDENED BUT MUST REPORT THAT THE PASSING OF ANGELA YESTERDAY IS INDEED TRUE. Speaking to The Denver Post in 2011 after taking off five years to recover, Bofill said she was happy to be back.
