Angela Bassett enjoyed dinner with her Zero Day castmates after facing criticism for continuing to be disappointed by her 2023 Oscars loss to Jamie Lee Curtis.
The actress, 66, was joined by Robert De Niro, his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, Matthew Modine, and producers Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim on Thursday, as they grabbed a bite at The Corner Store in New York. Political thriller series Zero Day, co-created by Narcos showrunner Eric Newman, follows a former U.S. President (De Niro) who 'is called out of retirement to find the source of a deadly cyberattack, only to discover a vast web of lies and conspiracies,' as per Netflix.
