Angela Bassett commanded attention on the Governors Awards red carpet on Tuesday in a gold Dolce & Gabbana gown.

The four honorary Oscar trophies were originally slated to be given to honorees Angela, Mel Brooks, Carol Littleton, and Michelle Satter on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' 14th Annual Governors Awards, held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles, handed out a number of honorary Oscars to some of Hollywood's most deserving stars.
