Angela Bassett & Courtney B. Vance Producing Drama Series In Works At NBC
NBC and Universal TV are developing Keats (w/t), a new series from Bassett Vance Productions and Pilar Golden.
The duo executive produces the project alongside Bassett Vance Production Company’s Head of Development, Lynette Ramirez and writer Pilar Golden ( Beyond Black Beauty, Max’s Gossip Girl). Ramirez joined the company in 2021 with a focus on developing and uplifting BIPOC projects and storytellers. Golden is the creator and executive producer of the Amazon FreeVee series Beyond Black Beauty starring Kaya Coleman in the lead role of Jolie Dumont.
