Angel Studios’ ‘The King Of Kings’ $7.8M+ Presales Besting ‘Sound Of Freedom’ – Box Office

Angel Studios' 'King of Kings' is outstripping the advance ticket sales of 'Sound of Freedom' at $7.8M.

That figure eclipses the presale number at the same point in time of Angel’s surprise hit Sound of Freedom, which posted a 3-day of $19.6M and a 6-day of $41.6M, that action drama about Tim Ballard, former government agent turned vigilante, going on to make $184M domestic, and $250M WW. Fans of the studio’s previous releases—including Sound of Freedom, Homestead, and Cabrini —have contributed to ensure that children can go gratis to the movies. The movie was inspired by Dickens: the film follows a father and son as they embark on an imaginative journey through the life of Jesus, delivering a fresh and heartfelt take on the greatest story ever told.
