Andy Serkis Reveals His One Hope For Alfred’s Story In ‘The Batman’ Sequel

Andy Serkis has some big ideas for Alfred the butler! The actor reveals the storyline he wants to see pursued in the upcoming sequel to The Batman.

While Andy Serkis obviously didn’t play the biggest role in The Batman, those that remember he’s in the film can reminisce on a truly stunning performance as Alfred. “What I loved about what Matt [Reeves] created in the last one was this sense of a guardian who has not an iota of paternal instinct him, trying to be a father he could never be, ” Serkis remarked during the panel. While the actor sadly didn’t have any updates on the long-awaited sequel to The Batman, he did reveal that he has some hopes about where to take Alfred’s story.
