Andrew Scott has spoken out on his close friendship with his All Of Us Strangers co-star Paul Mescal, calling him ' a wonderful friend.'

Andrew, 47, has now revealed how Paul, 27, played a pivotal role in helping him through a tough time after his beloved mother Nora died suddenly in March, right in the middle of the awards season spotlight. All Of Us Strangers sees Andrew star as a screenwriter drawn back to his childhood home who enters into a fledgling relationship with a mysterious neighbor played by Paul. And Scott - who dedicated the award to her memory by telling audience members 'she was the source of practically every joyful thing in my life' - admits he felt compelled to immerse himself in work following her recent passing.
