Andrew Garfield Would '100 Percent' Return as Spider-Man
It sounds like the 'We Live in Time' star isn't done web-slinging.
When he first learned that he would succeed Maguire as the next Spider-Man over a decade ago, he recalls calling his parents at 3 a.m., screaming, “I don’t need those f**king business studies anymore, Dad!” He starred alongside Emma Stone, and the two became a powerhouse Hollywood couple— as Spider-Man co-stars often do. But after Sony tossed plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 due to poor critical success (but not low box office numbers! “I would 100 percent come back if it was the right thing, if it’s additive to the culture, if there’s a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before that’s unique and odd and exciting and that you can sink your teeth into,” he says.
