André Holland, Michael Jai White and Method Man Films Among 2025 American Black Film Festival Line-Up (EXCLUSIVE)
André Holland, Michael Jai White and Method Man are all set to premiere films at this year's American Black Film Festival, which runs June 11-15.
Meanwhile, White is directing “Trouble Man,” which follows an ex-cop turned fixer who “fights through a maze of street thugs” to find his ex-girlfriend, according to an official synopsis. “We are thrilled to bring the American Black Film Festival back to Miami Beach in 2025, continuing our tradition of showcasing bold, original voices and engaging storytelling,” Nice Crowd president Nicole Friday said in a statement. “This year’s festival promises an even more expansive lineup of films that reflect the richness of lived experiences and the creativity shaping today’s cinematic landscape.
