André 3000, Elvis Costello, Laufey to Perform at Newport Jazz Fest 2024
Newport Jazz Festival has announced its 2024 lineup, which includes André 3000, Laufey, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Elvis Costello, and more artists.
On Tuesday, the annual music festival announced the performers for this year’s iteration, which will include Kamasi Washington, André 3000, Laufey, Nile Rodgers & Chic, and Elvis Costello. The festival will feature an Acid Jazz is Dead DJ set that includes composer Adrian Younge, Ali Shaheed Muhammed from A Tribe Called Quest, and other special guests. Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Ravi Coltrane will also come together to honor the legacy of Wayne Shorter, the saxophonist who died last March at age 89.
