André 3000 Takes ‘New Blue Sun’ for a Second Tour Run at Larger Venues
On Tuesday, André 3000 announced that he'll be bringing his album 'New Blue Sun' on the road again to larger venues in the fall.
On Tuesday, the musician announced that he’ll be touring his most recent flute project this fall, but this time stopping in more cities and larger venues across the United States. Joining him on the road once more will be DJ and producer Carlos Niño, along with musicians Nate Mercereau, and Surya Botofasina with Deantoni Parks. A Rolling Stone review of his show in New York City last year lauded the musician for “constructing an interactive, free-flowing, concert experience,” while a review of his flute record described the project as “an 87-minute sound world you’ll love getting lost in.” Since releasing New Blue Sun, André’s joined Kamasi Washington on “Dream State.”
