Andie MacDowell opens up about piriformis syndrome diagnosis: 'Thank God, my hips are fine'


Andie MacDowell opened up about being diagnosed with piriformis syndrome on 'The Drew Barrymore Show' after fearing that she needed hip replacement surgery.

The Four Weddings and a Funeral actress, 66, revealed that she turned to physical therapy after she was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome during her Thursday visit to The Drew Barrymore Show. "It's a muscle that kind of clamps down on my sciatic nerve, and it was shooting down my leg," she told host Drew Barrymore. The actress recalled working with Bill Murray on the film that sees a weatherman repeat the same day over and over again while falling in love with his producer.
