Dr Romete disclosed that Amy had been given Librium to combat the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal, but despite her vulnerable state, she declined further mental health support. Dr Romete revealed to the court that Amy admitted to resuming drinking on 20 July, a mere three days prior to her untimely death.
