'NBR Best Actor winner Paul Giamatti literally floored presenter Amy Sedaris with his nuanced comic performance in Alexander Payne's THE HOLDOVERS!' Aside from Giamatti, their top honorees this year included Killers of the Flower Moon for Best Film, Martin Scorsese for Best Director, and Lily Gladstone for Best Actress. Giamatti beat out Nicolas Cage for Dream Scenario, Timothée Chalamet for Wonka, Matt Damon for Air, Joaquin Phoenix for Beau Is Afraid and Jeffrey Wright for American Fiction.
