Amy Schumer Says Her 5-Year-Old Son Gene May Follow in Her Comedic Footsteps: 'He's Really Funny' (Exclusive)
Amy Schumer has a feeling her son Gene may be interested in following in her comedic footsteps, she exclusively told PEOPLE on Feb. 3.
In the Adam Sandler-produced comedy, Schumer plays an English teacher named Lainy, who starts wearing a fake baby bump after seeing how much attention her best friend Kate ( Jillian Bell) gets from her pregnancy. During a recent appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, the comedian said although Gene has only seen Trolls 3 in its entirety, he has shown a bit of interest in some of her other films. Schumer — who has spoken out about her “ really scary ” 2019 delivery in past interviews — adds that her Kinda Pregnant costar Ginny and Georgia ’s Brianne Howey’s character Meg is the one she feels “closest” to.
