Amy Schumer looks radiant as she gets back to work filming Kinda Pregnant... after revealing rare Cushing's syndrome diagnosis
Amy Schumer was spotted filming her new movie on Monday, proving that her recent diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome wasn't going to slow her down. She rocked a black dress and a smile.
The outing comes a few days after Amy revealed she suffers from the relatively rare hormonal disorder that can change a person’s facial appearance and cause weight gain. Amy explained her journey to find out her diagnosis: 'While I was doing press on camera for my Hulu show, I was also in MRI machines four hours at a time, having my veins shut down from the amount of blood drawn and thinking I may not be around to see my son grow up.' Schumer said that she believed 'a woman doesn’t need any excuse for her physical appearance and owes no explanation,' but she responded to the speculation 'to advocate for self love and acceptance of the skin you’re in.'
