Amy Schumer Gives Update on Her Battle With Cushing Syndrome (Exclusive)

The actress was diagnosed after fans pointed out that her face appeared to look puffy.

ET's Rachel Smith spoke to the actress at Variety's Power of Women New York event presented by Lifetime on Thursday, and she revealed how she's doing in the wake of her Cushing syndrome diagnosis. "While I was doing press on camera for my Hulu show, I was also in MRI machines four hours at a time, having my veins shut down from the amount of blood drawn and thinking I may not be around to see my son grow up," Schumer said in the News Not Noise newsletter. At Thursday's event, Schumer noted how her improved health will positively impact her son, Gene, whom she shares with her husband, Chris Fischer.
