The official Instagram account of the NBA posted a short clip of the comedian with the caption, “Amy Schumer is just like the rest of us 😂 She’s in the building for the Eastern Conference Finals!” But from reading the comment section, many did not find it all that funny. Other comments were more focused on her career rather than politics: “When Amy Schumer was young she told her teachers she wanted to be a comedian and they all laughed. “If the Pacers beat the Knicks and head to the finals I think it’s safe to say she’s the one to blame 😭🙏,” joked one guy, as if Schumer’s very presence could curse a team.
