The morning news anchors hosted GMA3 together until ABC axed them both in January 2023, three months after DailyMail.com published an array of photos that dramatically exposed they were having an affair while they were both still married to their spouses. Robach had tied the knot with actor Andrew Shue — best known for his role as Billy Campbell on the 1990s television series Melrose Place — around the same time Holmes wed Marilee Fiebig, a nonprofit executive, in 2010. They have explored such topics as 'bread-crumbing' while dating (giving the other person just enough attention to keep them interested, but without any intention of committing), the importance of healthy boundaries in relationships and strong communication between partners.
