Amy Poehler’s Ex-Husband Will Arnett Gives Her Podcast Support
Amy Poehler called on a few famous friends, including ex-husband Will Arnett, to help launch her new podcast
Though he cohosts the “Smartless” podcast, he quickly skipped giving Poehler advice, instead shifting to something more serious: “Would you happen to know my blood type? The news release for Poehler’s podcast explains she “will offer a hilarious mix of comedy, personal stories and not-too-serious conversations with esteemed guests” about “what makes them laugh, what they found funny recently and much more. Bill Simmons, who runs The Ringer (the Spotify-owned company that will coproduce the new podcast), told Deadline of the show, “Amy should have one of the biggest podcasts in the world — she’s a great hang, she’s funny, she’s curious, she knows everybody, and she actually loves the genre and puts real thought into what works and what doesn’t work.”
