EXCLUSIVE: Actress Amy Nuttall has had a tough twelve months, which saw her lose her beloved mother to a brain tumour. Here, she opens up about her loss - and a very special song

Before she died, she said, ‘You must use your platform to do some good and raise some awareness.’ We hadn’t heard the word glioblastoma before my mum was diagnosed back in July.” Amy says she has no plans to release more music, but would “absolutely love to sing more”. With Will Mellor in the hit ITV show Mr Bates vs The Post OfficeAmy shot to fame 24 years ago when she joined Emmerdale as Chloe Atkinson. “It’s something that none of us can even begin to imagine, so to get their voices heard is just a stepping stone for them to get justice.” Amy reveals she has landed her “dream gig”, but for now is keeping tight-lipped about the programme, which will be on our screens later this year.
