Amy Duggar King revealed husband Dillon's severe diaphragmatic rupture diagnosis that caused his organs to shift into his chest cavity
“After continued pain and concerns that could no longer be ignored, we sought medical attention, only to receive news no one ever expects to hear,” Amy, 38, told People on Wednesday, April 9. “Dillon has been diagnosed with a severe diaphragmatic rupture — an extremely rare and dangerous condition that has caused vital organs, including his kidney and parts of his digestive system, to shift into his chest cavity.” After Dillon, 37, underwent CT scans, doctors found a four-inch tear in his diaphragm and discovered that his right kidney, appendix, colon and small intestines had all been “displaced” inside the body.
