Amy Dowden shares candid hospital snaps from breast cancer treatment as she marks World Cancer Day: 'My life has changed forever'
The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 33, was told she had breast cancer in May 2023 and underwent a mastectomy before doctors discovered she was also battling another form of cancer.
Amy shared a candid post to social media, including pictures of herself in hospital during the gruelling cancer treatment She also broke her foot toward the end of the year and her chemotherapy and then the injury meant Amy was forced to sit out most of the 2023 series of Strictly and was not partnered with a celeb. Amy, who tied the knot with Ben in 2022, found a lump in her breast the day before she flew to the Maldives for a belated honeymoon in April 2023 .
