As America says goodbye to Jimmy Carter, his daughter reads a love letter he wrote Rosalynn Carter 75 years ago
In a video shared by the current First Lady of the United States Jill Biden, Amy said, “My mom spent most of her life in love with my dad,” as it showed paintings of Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter being hung next to one another in black and white. Long before Jimmy became the 39th president of the United States, he met his future wife when he was 3 years old, as his mother, Lillian Carter, helped deliver Rosalynn in 1927. Jill captioned the post, writing “Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter had a love story for the ages.”
