Amy Adams tells PEOPLE that there were years when her daughter Aviana asked that she didn't wear makeup, so that she could "be just mom."

Amy Adams turns up the glam on the red carpet, but out of the spotlight she takes a low-key approach. In September, the family traveled to the Toronto International Film Festival together for the debut of Nightbitch, marking Aviana’s first time on the red carpet. During a Friday, Dec. 6 appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Adams added that she's "not sure" if her teen daughter will follow in her acting footsteps.
