American R&B star Ray J opens up about his VERY surprising working relationship with Donald Trump - as he prepares to celebrate his 44th birthday onstage at the Juicy Fest in Melbourne

US R&B star Ray J has opened up about his working relationship with US president-elect Donald Trump, ahead of his first music tour Down Under.

The One Wish hitmaker, 43, told Daily Mail Australia he was optimistic the Trump administration would be making positive changes for the disadvantaged US urban community, and he would be helping out any way he could. The singer, who hosts a US political commentary show called The Reality Check and met with Trump in 2022 to talk about job creation, said the Republican may have a spot for him on his administration. Juicy Fest promoters Matthew Spratt and Glenn Meikle said the line-up was packed with artists responsible for some of R&B and hip hop's biggest hits of the '90s, 2000s, and 2010s.
