American Idol: Loretta Lynn's granddaughter Emmy Russell and teenager Triston Harper surprisingly exit as field narrows to final three

Loretta Lynn's granddaughter Emmy Russell, 25, and teenager Triston Harper, 15, were eliminated on Sunday's live two-hour Disney Night episode of American Idol on ABC.

Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan looked momentarily stunned as Emmy, 25, and Triston, 15, were sent home in the final moments of the show when the results of audience voting were announced. Jennifer Lewis, wearing a yellow feathered outfit, and Terence Blanchard then took the Idol stage and performed Dig A Little Deeper from The Princess And The Frog. Jack sang David Bowie's hit Space Oddity from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny after spending the day with his mother Caryn at Disneyland.
