Back in the 1970s, the Holden Monaro GTS was rebadged as a Chevrolet SS and sold in South Africa under the automaker's high-performance moniker to boost sales. The souped-up sporty variant of the Falcon was Ford's answer to the rising demand for muscle cars in South America, specifically Argentina.
