Amber Ruffin Comes Out on the Last Day of Pride: ‘Be Proud of Who You Are’
The talk show host and comedian Amber Ruffin came out on the last day of Pride.
The former writer for “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and host of her own talk show, “The Amber Ruffin Show,” Ruffin is also known for her recent work in theater, including co-writing the “Some Like It Hot” revival and, more recently, updating the book for “The Wiz” on Broadway. Additional emoji posts of support included hearts from current “Saturday Night Live” actor Bowen Yang, and former SNL alums Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant. Other voices that chimed in with their excitement included Broadway legend Audra McDonald, comedian Arden Myrin and “A League of Their Own” actor D’Arcy Carden.
