Amber Rose Recalls Being 'Suicidal for 3 Years,' Says Ketamine Therapy Is the 'Only Thing That Saved My Life'
Amber Rose opened up on The Jason Lee Podcast about struggling with her mental health for three years and needing to call a suicide hotline before turing to ketamine therapy to help
“I was not okay,” she admitted, noting that she didn’t have any other choice because she felt like she didn't have any close friends or family members to turn to. Rose said that after “doing research and therapy,” she later realized that there were several factors that took a toll on her mental health, including her hormones being “out of whack” following the birth of her son in 2019, the isolation from the pandemic, and going through a “terrible” relationship and public breakup. “Ketamine has helped me a lot… I get mine from a doctor, which I suggest everyone else do the same if they want to try that for PTSD or depression or anxiety,” she said, sharing that she’ll take the drug before bed.
