Amazon MGM Studios is building on its partnership with “The Chosen” creator Dallas Jenkins with a series centered on the Biblical figure Joseph and his time in Egypt. The official logline for the show states, “Betrayed by jealous brothers, Joseph defies all expectations and rises to incredible power in Egypt, second only to Pharaoh. Along with “The Chosen” and now “Joseph of Egypt,” Amazon Prime Video currently airs the drama series “House of David.” That show tells the story of King David and premiered in February, earning a second season renewal not long after.
