Amazon Spy Series ‘Butterfly’ Casts Sean Dulake, Kim Ji-hoon, Charles Parnell, Sung Dong-il and Lee Il-hwa (EXCLUSIVE)
Prime Video's "Butterfly" series starring Daniel Dae Kim has cast Sean Dulake, Kim Ji-hoon, Charles Parnell, Sung Dong-il and Lee Il-hwa.
Sean Dulake, Kim Ji-hoon and Charles Parnell join the series as recurring characters, while Sung Dong-il and Lee Il-hwa are set to guest star. “Butterfly,” an adaptation of the graphic novel written by Arash Amel and Marguerite Bennett, is a character-driven spy thriller focusing on Kim’s character, David Jung, an “enigmatic, highly unpredictable former US intelligence operative living in South Korea, whose life is blown to pieces when the consequences of an impossible decision from his past come back to haunt him, and he finds himself pursued by Rebecca (Hardesty), a deadly, sociopathic young agent assigned to kill him.” He most recently starred opposite Michael Fassbender in David Fincher’s “The Killer” and has appeared in “Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” “Top Gun: Maverick” and TNT’s “The Last Ship.”
