Amazon MGM Studios & Mattel’s ‘Masters Of The Universe’ Finds Its Sorceress & Fisto
Morena Baccarin will play The Sorceress and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson Malcolm/Fisto in the Masters of the Universe movie.
The duo joins Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man and Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops in the screenplay by Chris Buttler with first draft by David Callaham, and Aaron and Adam Nee. On the television side, credits include Homeland, which earned her an Emmy nomination, Joss Whedon’s Firefly, Fox’s Gotham, ABC’s V and The Mentalist. On the television side, Jóhannesson can be seen in Succession, Those About to Die, Vikings: Valhalla, The Witcher, on Netflix’s The Last Kingdom, and he recurred on the HBO hit series Game of Thrones.
