Amandaland viewers shared their opinions after the Motherland spin-off aired its first episode on Wednesday night - and they were all saying the same thing.

Moving to a new postcode, she reconnects with her former friend Anne (Philippa Dunne) and attempts to blend in with a new school crowd, including laid-back parents Della (Siobhan McSweeney) and Fi (Rochenda Sandall). Speaking about the series, Tanya Qureshi, Head of Comedy at the BBC said: 'We can't wait for audiences to see Amanda's new chapter, brought to life by such a talented cast and a wonderfully sharp set of characters.
