Amanda Seyfried is set to star in Peacock ‘s limited series adaptation of the Liz Moore novel “ Long Bright River,” Variety has learned. Per the official logline, the show “tells the story of Mickey (Seyfried), a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. Her other TV work includes “Big Love,” “Veronica Mars,” and the revival of “Twin Peaks.” On the film side, Seyfried earned an Oscar nomination for “Mank” in 2021.
