Amanda Peet Joins ‘Your Friends And Neighbors’ Apple Series, Craig Gillespie To Direct
Amanda Peet is set as a lead opposite Jon Hamm in Your Friends and Neighbors, Apple TV+’s upcoming drama series from Warrior creator Jonathan Tropper.
Based on an original idea by Tropper, Your Friends and Neighbors stars Hamm as Coop, a recently divorced hedge fund manager who, after being fired, resorts to stealing from the wealthy residents in his tony upstate New York suburb in order to keep his family’s lifestyle afloat. This marks a return to Apple TV+ for Gillespie following his role as executive producer and director on the streamer’s original dramedy Physical, which ran for three seasons. He also was director and executive producer on Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, sharing in its Emmy nomination for Outstanding Limited Series.
