The Britain's Got Talent judge and radio presenter got emotional as she talked about the prospects of Alexa, 18, and Hollie, 12, flying the nest. The mum, who shared two girls with her husband Chris Hughes, said: "When your children, when they leave home, you only spend a year of your life with them ever again. The TV star opened up to Alan Carr on Amanda and Alan's Italian Job about her daughters flying the nest (Image: Instagram)"While she knows her insecurities are unfounded and the girls are constantly telling her what an incredible mum she's been and still is, she can't help feeling great sadness at her girls growing up and leaving her - admitting she is fearful of the loneliness she's going to endure when the time comes."
