Despite some negative feedback, Amanda was overjoyed to have been part of the event, telling The Sun's TV mag, prior to the show: "It truly is such an honour to be hosting the Royal Variety Performance this year. The gala, attended by notable guests including King Charles III, featured performances from Sophie Ellis-Bexter, the cast of The Devil Wears Prada, and the inspiring Change and Check Choir led by Marti Pellow under Lorraine Kelly's initiative.
