Amanda Abbington's fiancé's defiant four-word response to Giovanni row as BBC probe ends

The BBC have ruled on Amanda Abbington's complaint against her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice, after she accused him of being 'mean, cruel, and abusive'

Amanda Abbington's fiancé Jonathan Goodwin had a fiery comeback for a social media user who suggested she had damaged former Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice's career after her allegations against him. The Sherlock star left the BBC dance competition last year and later accused Giovanni, 34, of "mean, cruel, and abusive" behaviour, which he has consistently refuted. In a comprehensive statement released today, Amanda revealed: "In the days, weeks and months since I contacted the BBC, I've been accused of being a liar, a troublemaker and of being 'mad and unstable'."
