Actress Amanda Abbington has broken her silence about Strictly Come Dancing dancer Giovanni Pernice - amid the show's scandal - describing him as ‘cruel and mean’

The 50 year old actress, who quit the series and was later diagnosed with PTSD, made some strong claims about what her experience with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice was like. In an interview with The Sun On Sunday, Amanda claimed: “I found Giovanni’s behaviour unnecessary, abusive, cruel and mean. Graziano and Amanda’s former dance partner Giovanni are both under BBC investigation and neither dancer will be in the Strictly line up later this year.
