Alyssa Milano's controversial GoFundMe campaign smashes $10k fundraising target despite multimillionaire actress being trolled by fans for asking them to donate

Alyssa Milano's controversial GoFundMe campaign has smashed its fundraising target - despite the actress being trolled by fans for asking them to donate.

Charmed star Milano, 51, set up the online fundraiser herself under her married name Alyssa Bugliari, asking for $10,000 in donations for her 12-year-old son's baseball team trip - she then shared it to her 3.4M followers on X. After receiving backlash, Milano defended herself on X, telling followers she has paid 'for uniforms for the entire team and coaches' herself as well as thrown birthday parties and sponsored 'any kid who can’t afford monthly dues.' In 2018, she attended a gun control rally where a National Rifle Association (NRA) member confronted her security guard, asked if he was armed, received no answer and was escorted away from the scene.
