Gina Girolamo has signed a TV overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios under her newly-launched Strega Stories banner, Variety has learned exclusively. “Gina Girolamo is a highly respected producer with exceptional creative instincts, who has been a part of so many series that resonate with audiences in profound ways,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “I’m really excited to be teaming with my friends at Amazon to launch Strega Stories, where I plan to lean into strong female characters of all ages, for both YA and adult audiences,” said Girolamo.
