Allison Janney To Receive Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild’s Distinguished Artisan Award
The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild will bestow Allison Janney with the 2025 Distinguished Artisan Award during the 12th annual MUAHS Awards.
“Allison Janney brings such an eclectic range of fascinating characters to life in collaboration with her make-up and hair teams,” Julie Socash, president, MUAHS, IATSE Local 706, said Tuesday in announcing the honor. In her multi-award-winning career, she has portrayed a variety of memorable characters — from an estranged mother to the Vice President of the United States. In addition to revealing winners in 15 competitive categories Saturday at the MUAHS ceremony at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, the guild will give make-up artist Todd McIntosh ( Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and hair stylist Peter Tothpal ( Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
