All Things Must Be Cast: Joseph Quinn to Play George Harrison in Beatles Biopics?
Joseph Quinn has reportedly signed on to play George Harrison in director Sam Mendes’ films about the lives of each one of the Beatles.
With a little help from casting directors and the rumor mill, the stars of the forthcoming separate Beatle biopics are coming into view — and could now include two actors from Gladiator II. As per Ringo Starr, Barry Keoghan ( The Batman, The Banshees of Inisherin, Saltburn, the upcoming Peaky Blinders film) will play the drummer in that installment. “I’m honored to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies,” Mendes said in a statement.
