Sean Bean is currently starring in This City Is Ours, but not for long, as Ronnie Phelan becomes the latest of the actor's characters to meet their maker

In his first foray into the James Bond franchise, Sean Bean is killed off when General Arkady Grigorovich Ourumov (Gottfried John) shoots him in the head. Sean’s character Robert Aske dies either of exposure or of starvation (technically off-screen) after followers of Ray Winstone’s Henry chain him to a gate. And finally, in 2025, This City Is Ours, in which Sean’s character Ronnie Phelan dies following a knife attack from his right-hand-man, Michael, played by James Nelson-Joyce.
