In the hours that followed, countless party members, public figures and voters alike provided an outpouring of support for the attorney-turned-politician’s last-minute campaign, which raised more than$50 million in fundraising less than a day after it launched. “I’m so ready to work to help unite the pro-democracy coalition to reject Trump’s authoritarian, oppressive Project 2025 and elect Kamala Harris as our President,” John Legend wrote in a message shared to Instagram following Biden’s endorsement of his VP.
