All Five One Direction Albums Return To The UK’s Top 40, Following Liam Payne’s Death
The singer died on October 16, following a fall from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires.
All four remaining band members – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson – paid personal tribute to their late bandmate, along with their former manager Simon Cowell and Payne’s former partner, singer Cheryl Tweedy. Earlier this week, results of the post-mortem into Payne’s death were published, stating he had died of multiple trailers and “internal and external haemorrhage.” The BBC reports that his father Geoff is still in Buenos Aires, where he is finishing the necessary administration to bring his son home to the UK.
